Parent Visitation Day at Shelby's school
The little man was a great sport waiting at the DMV all morning to get Daddy's truck registered and plated in NY!!! We spent some of our waiting time at the shop next to the dmv.... where Z devoured a monster cupcake.
The city of White Plains, or the Hamlet of North White Plains, or the town of North Castle, Valhalla, or Mount Pleasant (wherever we actually live) put up wreaths and Christmas banners along Broadway today. So we made green kettle corn for snack, and are dreaming of decorating soon... "baby, it's coooooold outside!!"
Parent Visitation at Alex's school
her class is doing a seed planting experiment.
Crazy boy on our morning walks... riding through puddles and stopping on bridges to "help Paul pull the gators out".
I told him to keep pedaling so as not to get wet in the cold puddle, which didn't phase him as he purposely stopped pedaling and soaked his shoes in the freezing water. He then walked his bike over to me and said he needed to go back in to help Paul look for gators. When I told him he was crazy, he said "well, you know I'm a water baby!" Then he rode through three more times, stopping each time in the middle of the puddle.
So, I say:
You can take the boy away from the warm water,
but you can't keep the boy out of the water!
ha ha ha!
I absolutely love my water babies, no matter the weather or climate! Freezing cold water can be fun too.
Shelby is "Budding Author of the Month"!!
I got to go into Shelby's class on Friday as the "Mystery Reader"
(fun that she didn't know I was coming!)
