Well, we knew that butterfly bandaids and our lack of gushing blood ER trips could only last so long... and of course, October 31st was our first day without Tricare (military medical insurance)...
Alex fell (while playing) in the shower and cut her chin open deep and wide enough that we had to head to the ER for stitches. Thankfully, we have great insurance with Lance's new job, wonderful neighbors who told us which ER was the best, an impressive new local hospital, and now pediatrician recommendations!
She was nervous to get the stitches but immediately proud of them :) She was stoic through the whole ordeal. Love our big girl!!
