Kensico Dam & park are right down the road from our house
I love the inscription on these pillared walls on each side of the road at the top of the dam:
"He causeth His wind to blow and the waters to flow
He maketh grass to grow upon the mountains
He covereth the Heaven with clouds, He prepareth rain for the forest"

Then we went back another day with Daddy....
and the PoPo came to tell us we aren't allowed to rock climb up the wall!
We are thankful to have this gorgeous park just down the road from us!

and we also love the path along the Bronx River Parkway just down the street from us that feeds right into the Kensico Dam Park
