Lance got a sailboat charter cruise for his birthday present!

We left just north of Tampa and sailed into the Gulf with Captain Dave of Windsong Sailing aboard this 34-foot Jeanneau Espace sailboat.

 

It was a pretty cold and windy morning, but the sun came out eventually and we enjoyed some smooth sailing. Everyone took Dramamine, so no one got seasick.

We sailed to a little sandbar of an island and took the dingy over to the beach.

 

There were many treasures to find as this beach is only accessible by boat.

 But we had really come to sail, so back on the boat we went for lunch and a cruise...

 It was fun to see all that goes into sailing and how well the family did on a sailboat.

 This certainly won't be the last time you see these water babies sailing... :)
