a dolphin swimming along in front of our boat heading out to open ocean
huge lizards soaking up the sunshine along the canals
and manatees!!!
two adults and a baby kept surfacing right in front of the house!
So we got in the canoe and paddled out to them; they swam under us several times.
We "played" with them for quite a while, until the sun was getting low and the mosquitoes were biting too much.
The next day, this manatee came up to chill in the fresh water as Lance was rinsing off the boat.
Alex got to pet its nose :)
