 a quick stop in Melbourne to check out the beach before driving inland to Grandma and Granddaddy's

 ...

 a few days later, we were on the Gulf side checking out Bradenton

 and the next day on the Atlantic side checking out Fort Lauderdale

we picked up a hitchhiker somewhere along the way :)
