bye bye tonsils!!

Alex had her tonsils removed, and missed the last three days of school.

Here she is all prepped for surgery with her awesome nurse, Connie  :)

Before surgery, Mommy bet her a dollar that the first thing she'd say would be "Is it over already!?" and so the first thing this crazy said when she woke up, totally drugged, was: "I won the bet!".  ha ha ha, love this kid!!

Here she is in recovery, still quite groggy - she wanted a picture to show off her IV.

Alex, you are amazingly strong and patient! We are so proud of how you handled these past couple of weeks. You missed your 3rd Grade award ceremony, but congratulations for being on the Honor Roll all year long! We praise God for your smart brain, love for reading, and big heart!
